Tree Wood Craft Salt Lamp

Put this tree salt lamp on a shelf and it works as sculpture before it works as light. A hand-crafted wooden tree frame holds Khewra pink salt crystals in its branches, lit from the middle, so the piece looks carved and considered rather than like a plain lamp.

The crystals come from the Khewra mine in Punjab, Pakistan, the origin behind every real salt lamp, arranged inside a branch-motif wooden framework. Because the frame is shaped and filled by hand, no two hold their crystals in quite the same arrangement, and the wood grain differs from one to the next.

People pick this precisely because it doesn't read as a typical salt lamp; it's a decorative object first and a light second, which is the whole draw for design-led rooms. At that height it suits a living room shelf, a dining sideboard or a mantel, sitting happily in a room around 10 to 15 square metres in size.

One thing buyers wonder is whether the crystals fall out; they're seated in the frame and stay put in normal use, though you can nudge one back if you move the piece around. Keep it switched on, since the salt takes up moisture from the air, and give the wood frame an occasional dust with a dry cloth to keep the grain clean.

Returns

Every lamp is hand-carved from natural rock salt, so variation in colour, shape, weight and surface texture is normal and is not a fault.

Arrived damaged or incorrect? Email us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or refund you in full, and you will not pay return postage.

Changed your mind? You are welcome to unpack it and check it works first. You then have 30 days from delivery to tell us, and 14 days after that to post it back. Refunds go to your original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
