At 3 to 5 kg this white crystal salt lamp has the presence to light a whole room while keeping that clean, pale glow instead of a deep orange one. It reads architectural rather than rustic, which is exactly why people reach for it over a standard pink lamp.

White halite is genuinely scarce. The low-iron crystals only show up occasionally at the Khewra mine in Punjab, Pakistan, and each block is carved by hand, so your lamp's tone and outline are its own. Expect a creamy, frosted white rather than a stark bright one, since this is natural rock with faint mineral veins running through it.

Because more light passes through the pale crystal, the spread is softer and more even than a deeper pink lamp of the same weight. It suits a living room sideboard, a hallway console or a large shelf, and many owners of a pink lamp add this for the contrast between rooms.

A frequent question is how bright it gets; it's a mood light, not a reading lamp, giving a gentle wash rather than task lighting. On moisture: white salt is every bit as hygroscopic as pink, so a little dampness now and then is normal and points to the real thing, not a fault. Leave it switched on and it stays dry.

Returns

Every lamp is hand-carved from natural rock salt, so variation in colour, shape, weight and surface texture is normal and is not a fault.

Arrived damaged or incorrect? Email us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or refund you in full, and you will not pay return postage.

Changed your mind? You are welcome to unpack it and check it works first. You then have 30 days from delivery to tell us, and 14 days after that to post it back. Refunds go to your original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
