Himalayan Salt Lamp (20-25 kg)

Set on the floor of a hotel lobby or a grand living room, this extra large statement salt lamp at 20 to 25 kg goes a clear step beyond decor, a massive formation of rock salt glowing from within. Give it a spot of its own and it can set the mood for an entire room.

Key features

• Substantial Khewra pink halite, carved by hand from one ancient piece of rock salt in Punjab, Pakistan
• Sourced from a deposit holding an estimated 82 million tonnes, and working a piece of this weight without fracturing the crystal takes real artisan skill
• Its E14 15W bulb throws a broad amber light near 1800 to 2200 K
• Balanced on a bolstered solid hardwood foot, drawing power through a braided lead to a UK plug
• Made for large spaces of 35 square metres and beyond, from reception lobbies to spa areas and restaurants

At 20 kg and up, plan the move before it arrives: clear a route, choose a firm, level floor spot, and consider having a second person help you lift it. With this much crystal exposed, the salt draws noticeably more humidity from the air than a small lamp, so occasional dampness is entirely expected and is a natural trait of real rock salt. Leave it switched on around the clock and the warmth helps keep the surface dry. You'll find the full routine in our care guide. Ready to give the room its centrepiece? Take one home.
