Himalayan Fine Salt 1Kg

Himalayan fine salt milled to around 0.5 to 1 mm, small enough to pour from a shaker and dissolve the moment it hits a pan, and nothing like the dyed table salt sold under the same name. That pink tint is natural iron oxide sitting inside the crystal, not an added colour. It's mined at Khewra in Punjab, Pakistan, then washed, dried and ground with nothing else put in.

The details

• Fine grain, roughly 0.5 to 1 mm per crystal, disperses evenly through a mix
• No bleaching, no anti-caking agents, no added iodine, just halite as mined
• Around 95 to 98 percent sodium chloride, the balance natural trace minerals
• Sold in 1 kg, 2 kg or 3 kg bags, cheaper per kilo as the bag grows

This is the grade for everyday seasoning, baking, marinades and the table shaker, used just like ordinary salt but without the processing. Sodium per gram sits very close to refined salt, so what you gain is cleaner flavour and purity rather than a nutrition claim. Keep it in an airtight tub, since open salt pulls damp from the air and clumps. You'll find the coarse grind in our edible salt range too. Add a bag to your basket.

Returns

Every lamp is hand-carved from natural rock salt, so variation in colour, shape, weight and surface texture is normal and is not a fault.

Arrived damaged or incorrect? Email us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or refund you in full, and you will not pay return postage.

Changed your mind? You are welcome to unpack it and check it works first. You then have 30 days from delivery to tell us, and 14 days after that to post it back. Refunds go to your original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
