Angel Shape Himalayan Salt Lamp

Every angel salt lamp begins as a block of pink rock salt lifted from Khewra in Punjab, Pakistan, then shaped by hand into a figure detailed enough to display and warm enough to actually light each evening. Because each one is carved individually, the wing detail, the stance and the depth of colour genuinely shift from piece to piece.

An E14 15W bulb warms the crystal to a candle-soft amber near 1800 to 2200 K, tinted only by the iron oxide within the halite. The figure perches on a small wooden foot, wired through a plaited cord to a UK plug, and at around 1 to 1.5 kg and roughly 14 to 18 cm tall it settles neatly on a desk or shelf. That gentle glow softens what might otherwise feel like a purely decorative object, which is why it turns up so often as a sympathy gift, a christening keepsake or a fixture in a meditation corner. People buying it as a present often ask whether it arrives ready to give; it does, with the bulb, cable and plug fitted, so it needs nothing more than a socket.

One thing to expect: salt quietly takes on moisture from the air, so don't be thrown by the odd damp patch. It simply confirms the piece is real Khewra salt rather than a synthetic lookalike. Returns

Every lamp is hand-carved from natural rock salt, so variation in colour, shape, weight and surface texture is normal and is not a fault.

Arrived damaged or incorrect? Email us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or refund you in full, and you will not pay return postage.

Changed your mind? You are welcome to unpack it and check it works first. You then have 30 days from delivery to tell us, and 14 days after that to post it back. Refunds go to your original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
