The standout here is reach: this medium Himalayan salt lamp at 3 to 5 kg carries enough crystal to wash a whole bedroom in warm amber, yet still tucks onto a sideboard or chest of drawers. A 15W E14 bulb sits inside, its light hovering near 1800 to 2200 K, far closer to candlelight than to any blue-white LED.

Each piece is cut by hand from a block of pink halite raised at Khewra in Punjab, the single place on earth genuine Himalayan salt is dug. That deposit is ancient, laid down roughly 500 million years ago, and the iron oxide veining threads the rock differently every time, so the shading on yours belongs to yours alone. A turned wooden foot supports it and the plaited flex carries a standard three-pin UK plug, ready straight from the box. It stands about 18 to 24 cm tall and suits spaces between 10 and 20 square metres, which covers most UK bedrooms and smaller living rooms. Torn between sizes? A rough guide is roughly 1 kg of lamp for every 5 square metres of floor. This is usually the size people move up to after a smaller lamp, wanting more glow and more presence across the room.

Because salt quietly pulls water from humid air, a lamp left dark can bead a little at the base. Nothing is wrong; that response is among the surest ways to tell the halite is real rather than dyed glass. Leave it lit and the bulb's warmth holds it dry, then wipe any drops with a dry cloth. Returns

Every lamp is hand-carved from natural rock salt, so variation in colour, shape, weight and surface texture is normal and is not a fault.

Arrived damaged or incorrect? Email us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or refund you in full, and you will not pay return postage.

Changed your mind? You are welcome to unpack it and check it works first. You then have 30 days from delivery to tell us, and 14 days after that to post it back. Refunds go to your original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
